Saltaire exterior
Exterior decorating in the idyllic village of Saltaire.
I really enjoyed painting the front and rear elevations of this house in Saltaire. The World heritage site is a Victorian model village in West Yorkshire.
On this exterior decorating project I wanted to preserve and protect the functionality of the sash windows upstairs and ensure they would continue to work, without sticking, for years to come.
The products used were mixed to farrow and balls ‘railings’ no.31 to be in keeping with the surrounding area. It looks great against the stone work too.
The larger window at the bottom needed particular care as it was in bad condition, but after a bit of TLC and know how it was back to its former glory in no time at all!
