Painted kitchen Skipton

The Hummingbird Kitchen in Skipton was a great project to be involved with. I had never sprayed Valchromat before, but my knowledge of products and techniques ensured that there was no issue from the first primer coat to the delivery of the finished kitchen. After spraying a test piece I was confident with the products selected and knew the colour chosen by our customer was going to create a unique piece, that really showed how personality and practicality can be combined to create a room to not only work with, but to compliment your lifestyle.

It pays off to be bold when choosing colours for your kitchen. By integrating vivid blue tones of Fired Earth’s Humming Bird with the deep black Valchromat, coated with Osmo oil, this kitchen stood out from the crowd. Leaving the handles and revealed sides in Osmo, to reveal the deep tones of Valchromat Black, reflected the modern, minimalist design of the extractor fan, oven and hob. Together with the customer, a top coat with a 10% sheen level was chosen. Creating a seamless harmony with the Osmo oil in turn allowing the glossy oven, extractor and hob to really ‘pop’.

By choosing to use the LVLP pressure pot, in the purpose built spray booth enabled me to apply the coatings flawlessly. The coatings used are child and pet safe, making them perfect for the living kitchen environment.

Designed and built by the awesome team at The Autumn Kitchen. They design, build and create some of the best kitchens I have had the pleasure to work on.
