Pool kitchen
Pool in wharfedale is a village in lower wharfedale, West Yorkshire England. Pool is a scenic village and enjoys views in most directions, including The Chevin, the Arthington Viaduct and Almscliffe Crag. Running past the outskirts of Pool is the River Wharfe.
This kitchen was designed and installed by Ledoux Kitchens. A fantastic Yorkshire company based company I have done quite a lot of work with over the past year.
I was asked by the customer to colour match the hardwearing emulsion with the wall mounted units. To do this I took one of the doors to Turner and Wood Decorators merchants in Yeadon. Here they helped me to get the perfect match and mixed it into the appropriate paint.
Using hardwearing emulsion in the kitchen is perfect, especially with kids and pets running around the heart of the home.
To achieve solid white walls on the rest of the room I ensured I used the best products available on the market. On these walls there was quite a lot of remedial work needed after the old kitchen was removed and some of the electrical work needed rerouting. To do this I needed to used a mixture of expanding foam and toupret’s tx110 filler. I use this filler as it creates a smooth and stable surface ready for painting.
